【共同社9月30日电】多名相关人士29日透露，日本政府相关人士今年春季前后，曾与朝鲜方面进行了多次暗中接触。或许是为了解决绑架日本人问题，在第三方国家展开磋商并探索了可能性。虽然日本首相岸田文雄以自己“直辖”的形式力争实现与朝鲜劳动党总书记金正恩的首脑会谈，但接触后没有具体进展，谈判似乎陷入了停滞。
对于有报道称日本政府相关人士今年3月和5月与朝方进行了接触，岸田本月29日在官邸向媒体表示：“鉴于此事的性质，我不做评论。”官房长官松野博一、外相上川阳子也在记者会上做出了同样的说明，未提及接触是否属实。
岸田5月在要求实现绑架受害者回国的集会上，再次表态为了解决绑架问题，决心不设条件地与金正恩会晤，“为早日实现首脑会谈，希望开展由我直辖的高级别磋商”。朝鲜在之后的外务省副相谈话中表示“若日本做出新的决断，为改善关系寻找出路，朝日两国没有任何理由不打交道”。
